How to Install HP DeskJet 2138 Printer Driver on PC
In order to properly install this HP 2138 printer on your computer, please follow the following steps:
Step 1: Download the downloaded driver file “Full_Webpack-40.15.1230-DJ2138_FullWebpack.exe” to execute the automatic installation wizard.
Step 2: It is now extracting the drivers, so please wait for that.
Step 3: Click on Continue. The installation wizard has been started and it is saying, please be ready with your printer. Please make sure the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
Step 4: It is now asking to select which software you would like to install, or if you want the default settings, just click on Next. Just click on Next. If you want to select one by one which software you like or which software you would like not like to install, then you can go to customize software selection. After that, select the software you would like to install and click on next.
Step 5: Accept the user agreement of the software by clicking on the accept button.
Step 6: Opt for sharing of improved analytics data to HP by clicking on the Yes or No Thanks button.
Step 7: Now click on Yes to accept to share the application analytics data to HP.
Step 8: It is now installing the drivers, so please wait for that. It will take some time. So please be patient.
Step 9: Now it is asking to connect the USB cable of your printer to the laptop. So please connect the cable. Make sure the printer is powered on. This screen will auto-detect the printer once you connect the USB cable of your printer to the computer. Please wait for automatic detection on this screen.
