How to Install HP DeskJet 930C Series Printer Driver
In order to install this printer properly on your computer, you will have to follow the below given step-by-step guide. This is not a simple installation, this would be a manual installation using its basic driver with manual settings. You will have to follow the steps carefully.
Step 1: Unzip the driver files – Right-click on the downloaded driver file and click on extract basically we need to uncheck the driver files.
Step 2: Open up the extracted driver folder.
Step 3: Open up the folder according to the version of your operating system. Remember the location of this folder and close it for now, we use it while installing the printer manually.
Step 4: Let’s start installing this printer manually. Click on the Start button and then click on settings.
Step 5: Click on devices.
Step 6: Click on Printer & Scanners from the left side pane.
Step 7: Click on the plus icon of “Add a printer or scanner”
Step 8: Click on the link: “The printer that I want is not listed”
Step 9: A printer installation wizard has been opened up, choose the last option “Add a local printer” and then click on Next.
Step 10: Now, choose the port of your printer where your printer is connected right now. USB001 is recommended from my side. It may vary according to the number of the printer that are connected to this computer. If you have only one printer that is connected then choose USB001 and then click on Next.
Step 11: It is asking for the drivers now, please click on “Have Disk”
Step 12: Click on the browse button.
Step 13: Go to the location where we have extracted the drivers “prnhp001.inf”
Step 14: Click on OK.
Step 15: You will get a list of printer model numbers in front of you, scroll down and choose the printer model number “HP Deskjet 930c/932c/935c” and click on Next.
Step 16: Click on Next again.
Step 17: It is installing the drivers, so please wait for that.
Step 18: Now choose the first option, do not share this printer and click on Next.
Step 19: Click on Finish.
Step 20: As you can see the printer “HP Deksjet 930c” printer has been installed successfully. Go to the printer and check the same.
This is how you can install the 930C series printer on a computer. I have installed it on my Windows 10 64bit computer, but you may apply the same steps if you have Windows 11, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP etc.
