How to Install HP Deskjet 2822 / 2822e Printer Driver in Windows
After downloading the driver, you will have to install it properly on your computer. That is why I am going to provide you a step-by-step installation guide that I have prepared while installing this printer on my Windows 11 computer. So, please follow the steps that is given below.
Step 1: Execute the installer file “DJ2822-15.8.2_57_2_1683_3_Webpack_Full_Offline_Installer.exe” to start the printer installation wizard.
Step 2: The installer is extracting the drivers file, so please couples of seconds.
Step 3: Installation wizard is now ready to start, so please wait for it.
Step 4: Click on continue with current software.
Step 5: Click on Continue to accept the license agreement.
Step 6: Click on Yes to accept to share the printer analytics data to HP. You may opt No if you don’t want to share.
Step 7: Now, it is searching for the printer, so please wait and make sure the printer is connected to the computer or WiFi router.
Step 8: Click on Continue to get more specific connectivity options to connect this computer to the printer.
Step 9: Choose your preferred and specific connection type and click on next.
Step 10: Now, please connect the USB cable of your printer to the computer and make sure the power of the printer is turned ON. Once you connect the printer to the computer, this screen will auto detect the printer and go for further steps. There you will have to click on Continue and Finish to complete the installation process.

After installed the printer successfully, printer a test page by right-clicking the HP deskjet 2822e printer from the printers page and choose the option “Printer Properties” and then click on “Print Test Page” Button.

This printer comes with a 1Ghz processor and 64 MB DDR1 RAM. It has a tiny LCD display on it. The printer can support manual duplex, which is through, supported by the driver. It has one input tray that can hold 60 pages at a time, and one output tray that can hold 25 pages at a time. This printer supports plain media and photo paper. The size of the paper supported by this printer is A4, B5, A6 and envelope. Borderless printing is not supported by this printer.
To set up this printer on a mobile, you will have to install the HP application on your mobile, if you have Android. If you have Apple iOS, then you will have to connect this printer through the Apple AirPrint. There is no driver needed in the Chrome OS. So, the connectivity to the mobile is very simple. You can just install its app and set up this printer. The dimensions of this printer are 425mm in width, 304mm in depth and 154mm in height. The total weight of this printer is 3.4 kg. The printer only uses 2.8 watts maximum.
This printer uses a total of 2 ink cartridges, one black & white and one tri-color. The model number of the cartridge is HP 67. There are two variants available of this. One is a normal one and one is XL one, the model number of the XL one is HP 67 XL.
