    I forgot to mention that I am using a HP 1012 Laserjet printer.

    I am getting a ‘Unsupported Personality: PCL’ error when I print – macOS Mojave 10.14.6. I looked around for the most current macOS driver but I could not find it.

    I have installed my HP LaserJet 1012 printer using both methods 3 and 4, and the printer could still not print.
    Error message at every attempted printing is:

      Try this trick:
      1) Uninstall “USB Printing Support” from Device Manager
      2) After that, switch your printer’s USB cable to another USB port of your computer.
      3) After that, reinstall the printer.
