HP Photosmart 8150 is a color inkjet printer. This printer offers high-performance direct photo editing and printing with a large, 2.5-inch color image display. This printer is specially designed for homes and small to medium size businesses.
HP 8150 print speed is also very high compared with other printers. It can print up to 20 (PPM) black & white and 20 (PPM) color pages in a minute. Print resolution is very high. Black print resolution is 1200.0 dpi x 1200.0 dpi 1200 dpi color print resolution is 4800.0 dpi x 1200.0 dpi 4800 × 1200 dpi. To communicate this printer with another portable device a USB port is also used.

- Turn off your PC.
- Apply Power Drain to your printer.
- Uninstall the urrently installed HP 8150 driver from your computer.
- Then re-install it again using this latest driver.

Q: My printer is not printing.
A: If you are installing this printer driver manually on your computer, then make sure you are selecting the right port. You should choose the USB001 / USB002 / USB003 from the list. If none of these port exist in the ports list, then make sure your printer is connected to your computer properly. Please double-check it the connection.

Q: Need information for a HP PHotosmart 8150. It will not download to the computer.This printer worked fine for 2 or more years using Windows 10 which came with the dell computer I am now using. It has stopped working now. A few days ago someone did a recover on the computer and for 2 days the printer worked fine. Then it stopped again. Any information you could provide would be appreciated.
A: It seems like your printer driver's files got corrupted. Sometimes, Windows update may occurs this type of problem. We have a simple solution to fix this issue, do uninstall the currently installed driver completely from your computer, and then use its basic driver 32bit / 64bit to re-install HP Photosmart 8150 printer manually again.
Installation Steps:
- Unzip the basic driver's zip file and then copy its path.
- Install the printer using the "Add a printer" option.
- Then choose the "Have disk" option and give the copied basic driver location and then select hphpa1Vst4wu.inf / prnhp002.inf file.

HP Photosmart 8150 Printer support windows 7, 8.1 and even windows 10 but its drivers is not available for download because these operating systems already have HP Photosmart 8150 printer drivers inbuilt in the operating system. It will be automatically installed the drivers as soon as you connect your printer with your computer. You also can install this printer manually if it doesn’t install automatically. i don’t find com port 001 or 002, only DOT4 and a HP print device, i can’t have a print result is ony error!!!

Don’t use “Com” port, use USB port or Dot4 port.
To fix this non-detecting issue, apply these steps:
1) Connect the printer to the computer.
2) Uninstall “USB printing support” from the device manager. Like this: https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-0323-zz-SS-enUV/Inst_source/contents/05010000.html. Also uninstall the printer driver if installed.
3) Disconnect the printer’s USB cable from the computer and reboot your computer.
4) After rebooting, now start installing the printer again and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure the printer’s cable should not be connected until the printer-driver-installer asks you to connect it.
5) Now the driver-installer will ask you to connect the printer, now connect the printer’s USB cable to the computer. Make sure to connect it to another USB port then the previous one and wait for it to detect the printer automatically. This should be detected this time.
That’s it.

Thank you for your answer, I uninstalled the photosmart 8100 from the list of USB controllers and deleted the installed driver. When I reconnected he recognized me the printer in USB001 and installed this one.
