In this article we are going to explain how to Troubleshoot a USB Printer Connection. If your computer is unable to find your printer during installation or Printer Offline message displays when trying to print, you can follow this step by step guide to troubleshoot USB printer connectivity issue.

  1. Firstly, Switch off your Computer and printer.
  2. Now remove USB cable from printer and Computer:
  3. Now check the cable thoroughly, if there is any damage, please replace the USB cable and plug it again into the If doesn’t work then
  4. If did not work then, disconnect the printer’s USB cable from the computer and plug it into a different port on the computer than you used previously. (Do not use any USB hub, switch or dock).
  5. Reboot your computer and check whether the issue is resolve or not.

  7. If it’s not working yet and your cable is completely fine, please measure your USB cable, if its bigger than 9 feet (2.74 meters), kindly replace it and use a short cable.
